Hi! I'm Aya.

My name means “different textures and colors of thread woven together to make one pattern,” in Japanese. I use data to satisfy my curiosity.

I ask lots of questions. I’m drawn to things that are different because outliers are interesting.

Aya is a Global Program Strategist at AWS, where she partners with venture capital firms and startups to help founders grow and build great companies. She enjoys researching emerging technology trends, exploring what makes startups successful, and sharing her insights through writing. Aya lives in the United States with her husband and son. Outside of work, she loves trying new recipes for her family, checking out local cafés, and is always on the hunt for a great crepe or sushi spot.
